These are only a few problems. This is very frustrating. We will hopefully move to Google Classroom next year. I love edmodo. Both as an app and as a site. I find the screen layout on the website as well as the app a bit strange. The screen is not visible in its entirety, such as the progress report and library.
You can only view one or two files and students at a given time, even if your screen is full. It looks like you have been updating it quite a bit. Please keep updating. It’s easy to create groups and quizzes for students, as well as upload video.
Some of my students have had to log in to their accounts again after being kicked out by it during pandemic. A calendar option should be added so that students can choose a specific date and view the work. It would be nice to have a clickable option to view all assignments from mobile. Instead of scrolling down to locate an older assignment. Notifications are slow. Although it works well, I cannot block emails notifications. They also show up very late, so they are basically spamming.
Sometimes Edmodo crashes for several minutes. This could be related to online education, however I hope that these problems can be fixed in the future.

The one thing I don’t like about them all is their compatibility across different devices and ecosystems. Edmodo is not any different. It is full of confusing features that respond in various ways in windows, android and ios. This makes it difficult to use and navigate. Edmodo has been a great tool for me as a teacher of languages.
The program has been fine up to this point. The login process is incredibly slow, particularly when students log in using Google. It’s still something I would recommend to others. It is easy to use, and you can find your previous tests and assignments from the library. You will not be able to see if your homework has been accepted by the app.
One of my assignments is missing, as the teacher has changed the deadline. It was not obvious that it had to be uploaded again. It assumed I had submitted it under an old date. When I signed in, it believed that I was a child. The program said I could not have full functionality unless I provided my email address to my parents.

Some of my students have had to log in to their accounts again after being kicked out by it during pandemic. A calendar option should be added so that students can choose a specific date and view the work. It would be nice to have a clickable option to view all assignments from mobile. It is so disappointing that Edmodo will be closing down in September. It is an excellent application, easy to use, and extremely convenient for teachers and students during this epidemic. Edmodo has been a great tool for me as a teacher of languages. The program has been fine up to this point. The login process is incredibly slow, particularly when students log in using Google. It’s still something I would recommend to others. It is easy to use, and you can find your previous tests and assignments from the library. You will not be able to see if your homework has been accepted by the app.
One of my assignments is missing, as the teacher has changed the deadline. It was not obvious that it had to be uploaded again. It assumed I had submitted it under an old date. When I signed in, it believed that I was a child.
The program said I could not have full functionality unless I provided my email address to my parents. I am 64 years old. It’s a frustrating app. When you answered a quiz, and used all the time available, and there are 20 seconds remaining in the clock, and you are still writing specially essays , the time you spent typing is lost.
The results will not save any progress you made during that time. The app didn’t register a certain number, which can lead to a significant gap in score and performance. Felt my efforts ignored.
